Requirements for Shared Storage

VMware vSphere ESX/i 4.1 (update 3) or ESXi 5 (update 1 & 1a)
At least 1 GB of memory reserved
A single virtual CPU with at least 2000 MHz reserved
Have a Gigabit Ethernet or internal network environment

Requirements for High Availability (HA)

Have at least 2 VMware vSphere ESX/i 4.1 (update 3) or ESXi 5 (update 1 & 1a)
